Challenge

A recent cancer diagnosis often brings forth a myriad of emotions, including fear, anxiety, and uncertainty. Coping with the emotional toll of the diagnosis, along with concerns about the future and potential lifestyle changes, becomes a significant challenge for individuals facing cancer. Due to insufficient access to mental health specialists, a significant number of patients and their loved ones do not receive adequate psychological support. This support is crucial in minimizing the impact of stress associated with a diagnosis.

Solution

Living Well is a Class I medical device. It is a therapeutic application designed for individuals who have received a cancer diagnosis and are undergoing treatment. This tool, in a user-friendly manner, assists in coping with difficult emotions, reducing stress levels, and regaining control over one's well-being. The psychotherapeutic program within the application has been developed by experts in psycho-oncology in collaboration with patients. The content in the application is based on cognitive-behavioral therapy methods, grounded in current scientific knowledge, and draws from the experiences of patients. With diverse psychoeducational content, numerous exercises, and recordings featuring testimonials from other patients, the application helps women enhance their quality of life.
